Modern head for studio cameras with quick release plate. Load capacity 69 kg, continuous counterweight range 28 - 65 kg, tilt +90° / -70°, plate displacement +/-75 mm, weight 12.7 kg. Camera fixing with two 3/8" screws. Continuous Perfect Balance counterbalance comes with a meter, and drag is set in seven steps. The head has an illuminated bubble level.

The Libec QH3 is a QD series studio head with continuous Perfect Balance counterbalance from 28 to 65 kg (C.G. 125 mm) and a 69 kg payload. It offers 7-step drag, a center tilt lock, a one-touch camera plate and a flat base that the supplied BL-150 adapter turns into a 150 mm ball.

Perfect Balance with meter

Continuous Perfect Balance keeps the camera balanced at any tilt angle. The foldaway knob adjusts the spring smoothly from minimum to maximum, and a meter always shows the setting.

Center tilt lock

For the safety of the camera, the head can be physically locked in the center tilt position. The arrow-shaped knob and lock symbols are visible even from a distance.

Flat base and ball

The head has a flat base with 4 bolts, and the supplied BL-150 adapter turns it into a 150 mm ball. It fits tripods and pedestals alike.

QD stands for Quality Defined

According to Libec, the QD series redefines the balance between price, payload and performance in its class. The camera plate attaches and detaches with one touch for speedy setup.

7-step drag

A multilayered metal drag structure for pan and tilt.

Tilt +90° to −70°

At maximum spring strength the tilt is limited to ±40°.

±75 mm sliding plate

The camera attaches with two 3/8" screws; two spares are included.

Illuminated bubble level

The head works from −20 to +60 °C.

Meter and smooth counterbalance. The foldaway knob sets the counterbalance smoothly and the meter shows it; an adapter adds a 150 mm ball to the flat base.
