The SmallRig RA-D85 3586 is an 85 cm parabolic softbox for Bowens-mount lights, including the SmallRig RC 120D/120B and RC 220D/220B. A new quick-release chuck fits or removes the dome in about 15 seconds; two diffusions, a grid and a bag are included.

Key features

1. Latest-generation quick-release chuck: the softbox is fitted and removed by pressing and lifting alone, so installation or disassembly takes about 15 seconds.
2. Highly reflective coating plus a double-layer Oxford lattice fabric: solid outdoor-grade materials preserve the original colour temperature and CRI while giving a more even soft light.
3. Sixteen ribs provide three-dimensional support and a rounder, deeper surface. The material comes from the military umbrella field – lighter and tougher, highly elastic and heat resistant, withstanding tens of thousands of presses without deformation.
4. All ribs are mounted externally, so the inner reflective coating stays smooth and even and the frame does not slip out of the hook-and-loop fasteners.
5. Two high-quality diffusions and a grid are included and can be chosen as needed; the grid focuses the beam angle to 45°.
6. Universal Bowens mount – compatible with SmallRig RC 120D/RC 120B/RC 220D/RC 220B and other Bowens mount lights.
