A professional full-frame portrait lens for Sony E (FE). The Viltrox AF 85 mm F1.4 Pro combines an F1.4 aperture, 15/11 optics, fast Dual HyperVCM autofocus, and a weather-sealed all-metal body with direct control.
The Full-Frame Portrait Master
The 85 mm focal length delivers a natural perspective and pleasing compression. The large F1.4 aperture isolates the subject with a soft bokeh and helps maintain a sharp image even in low light.
Optical design: 15 elements in 11 groups
Three ED elements, nine HR elements, and one ultra-precise UA aspherical element correct chromatic aberrations and spherical aberrations. The HD Nano multi-layer coating helps maintain contrast in challenging backlit conditions.
Fast Dual HyperVCM Autofocus
A pair of Viltrox HyperVCM motors focuses quickly, quietly, and accurately for both stills and video. Internal focusing maintains the lens length and supports reliable face and eye detection.
Direct Professional Control
The aperture ring can be switched between step and smooth operation. The AF/MF switch and programmable Fn buttons put important functions right at your fingertips; additional settings are supported by the Viltrox Lens app.
All-metal, Sealed Body
Dust- and splash-resistant seals provide added confidence when working outdoors. The front element features a water- and dirt-repellent coating, and the USB-C port allows for easy firmware updates.
